W Brisbane Unveils Private Vinyl Lounge with Late-Night Soul Food
W Brisbane has officially opened its doors to a new private vinyl listening lounge, offering a bespoke audio experience for inner-city locals. The venue, described as equal parts design playground and sonic escape, is now accepting bookings for private events.
According to InDaily Queensland, the lounge is designed to let guests set their own tone with a state-of-the-art Adam Sound speaker system. The space can host 18 guests cocktail style or 12 seated in its low-light, opulent interior.
Curate Your Own Soundtrack
Visitors can compile their own playlist from a library of 100 vinyl records currently housed in the lounge. Those happy to leave the selection in the hands of a pro can go on a journey plotted by the W Music Curator, Adam Swain, who offers a tailored journey through soft rock, jazz, or unexpected genres.
This initiative taps into a global resurgence of analogue music. As reported by InDaily, listening bars and old-school sound systems are enjoying a massive trend in popularity right now. W Brisbane aims to provide a dedicated space for melophiles to enjoy audio bliss without the distractions of a standard bar.
Press for Martini and Late-Night Bites
The lounge features a first-of-its-kind ‘Press for Martini’ button that gives guests direct access to a curated drinks list. The menu includes specific riffs like the Sound of Salt, a Japanese-inspired cocktail made with miso-infused Belvedere 10.
Another highlight is the Sound of Violet, a heady mix of fig-infused gin, butterfly pea tea, and house-made yuzu cordial. A dedicated personal concierge, known as an Experience Host, is available to cater to every whim during the evening.
On the food front, W Brisbane is serving late-night soul food with a twist. Guests can devour bite-sized morsels including Oscietra caviar blinis, whipped feta with fig and caramelised pecans, and truffled wagyu sausage rolls.
Booking Details for the Weekend
The W Brisbane Listening Lounge is officially open for private bookings starting this week. The lounge operates from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Guests looking to book a session can head to the W Brisbane website for more information and to make a reservation. The venue is now ready to welcome locals who want to soundtrack their next night out in the city.
