Brisbane Pride Fair Day returns to New Farm Park on Saturday 24 October, running from 10am to 5pm after the Rally and March from Fortitude Valley.

Starting in the Valley
The Rally and March gathers at 9am on the corner of Ann and Brunswick Streets. Speeches start at 9:30am, the march steps off at 10am, and it is due to reach New Farm Park at about 11am, depending on the march. Brisbane Pride says it is free to join with no individual registration, allies are welcome, and community groups should register so the marching order can be planned. Motorcycle riders lead, followed by the large rainbow flag.
What is on at Brisbane Pride Fair Day
Gates open at 10am, with wristbands collected on entry. The main stage starts at about 11am as the march arrives, with drag, live music, dance and community performance, and speeches through the afternoon. There is a headline performance at 2pm, but the schedule page does not name the act.
Rainbow Markets will have LGBTIQA+ makers, small businesses, health services and community organisations. There is also a food precinct and a licensed bar area. Dogs on a lead are welcome, and Brisbane Pride says Fair Day goes ahead rain or shine.
Tickets and getting there
Fair Day is ticketed through Eventbrite. When I checked, Brisbane Pride’s page said 2026 prices were still being confirmed, so check the ticket page for the cost.
The New Farm Park CityCat terminal is at the river edge of the park, and buses run along Brunswick Street. Street parking is limited and fills early. Fortitude Valley station is a short walk from the rally. Brisbane Pride’s pages do not mention road closures. Accessibility arrangements are still being confirmed, and people with access needs are asked to contact the organisers beforehand.
Part of a bigger Saturday
According to the Brisbane Star Observer, Fair Day coincides with the River Pride Parade at Melt Festival, which runs at Brisbane Powerhouse from 21 October to 8 November. Brisbane Pride president James McCarthy told the Star Observer: “We’re thrilled to be returning to New Farm for our Rally, March and Fair Day.”
