Circa’s World-Premiere production Show Me Love is taking over Brisbane Powerhouse, having opened on Thursday 5 November and running until Saturday 7 November. The two-hour contemporary circus show from Brisbane’s own Circa closes out Melt Festival 2026.
The production was created by Yaron Lifschitz and the Circa Ensemble with guest artists, and features music produced and performed by Sydney-based DJ Sveta. The project is supported by Tim Fairfax AC and Gina Fairfax AC.
Circa’s World-Premiere Experience Extends Beyond the Stage
What sets this show apart is the journey before you even take your seat. The night begins with a walk through the Powerhouse’s winding back corridors, where the acrobatics start to build around you, before the audience moves into the theatre. Accessible options are available at all stages of the experience.
There is a full lockout, so latecomers will not be admitted. The show is recommended for audiences aged 15 and over, and children under two are not permitted; everyone else needs a valid ticket, whatever their age.
Content Warnings and Practical Details
The production contains adult themes, strobe lighting, partial nudity, haze and loud noises, so if any of those are a concern, it’s worth bearing in mind before you book.
Two performances remain: tonight (Friday 6 November) at 7.30pm and Saturday 7 November at 6.30pm, both in the Powerhouse Theatre.
Tickets are priced at $89.90 (Premium), $79.90 (A Reserve) and $69.90 (B Reserve), with a $7.20 transaction fee on all ticket purchases. Tickets are available via Brisbane Powerhouse’s event page.
