Briox Deli Opens New Sandwich and Pastry Spot in Fortitude Valley
Rizka and Audi Krisnandika have launched a new grab-and-go eatery in Fortitude Valley, bringing their popular pastry expertise to a dedicated deli space. Briox Deli officially opened its doors at Shop 4/226 Brunswick Street, just steps from the Valley Metro station.
As reported by InDaily Queensland, the duo behind the cult-favourite Croix Croissant now operate this compact spot as a home for their expanding menu of sandwiches and pastries.
A Menu Built for Commuters and Locals
The new venue is designed specifically for commuters and city workers looking for a quick, flavour-packed lunch or morning coffee. The menu reflects the multicultural approach that made their previous venture a hit, offering a mix of globally inspired savoury items and sweet treats.
On the savoury side, the deli serves a range of unique sandwiches including bulgogi cheesesteak rolls, butter chicken sandwiches, eggplant balado sambos, and K-BBQ crispy chicken focaccias. These options provide a distinct alternative to standard cafe fare in the inner-city hub.
Sweet tooth cravings are catered to by a pastry cabinet loaded with French butter croissants, pain au chocolat, and twice-baked almond croissants. The team also stocks inventive croissant buns alongside signature cinnamon scrolls in classic, pandan, and rotating seasonal flavours.
Specialty Coffee and Opening Hours
Drink options at the new location include cold brew and iced lattes crafted from beans supplied by Melbourne’s Moto Bean Roasters. The team has indicated that a range of specialty beverages is set to join the menu in the coming weeks.
According to the listing details provided by InDaily Queensland, the shop operates on a convenient schedule for early risers and lunch-goers. Opening hours run from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm on Thursdays, allowing staff to serve the morning rush before closing for the day.
The location at Shop 4/226 Brunswick Street places the new deli in a high-traffic area near the Valley Metro, making it a natural stop for those heading into the city or working in the immediate vicinity.
